EAST MEADOW, NY — Five men were arrested after Nassau police said they robbed an AT&T in East Meadow of $60,000 and injured two employees.
A 23-year-old man was working at the AT&T store at 2411 Hempstead Turnpike when three men entered the store around 4 p.m. Wednesday, police said. Ibrahim Fofana, 19, of Manhattan, Ousmane Diallo, 18, of the Bronx, and Daouda Diarrassouba, 19, of Manhattan, punched the man and forced him to the ground, police said.
They forced him and another employee, a 23-year-old woman, into the back storage room by displaying a large handle knife, police said. They slashed the woman's right pinky finger, causing a cut, police said. The men did not allow the employees to leave the room and forced them to unlock the store safe, police said.
