Teen Beaten On Nassau Street With Bats And Hammers: Police
Police said the teenager was walking late at night when a gang of five men assaulted him and drove away.
WESTBURY, NY — A teenager was beaten by five men in Westbury early Saturday morning and Nassau County police said they are investigating it as a gang assault.
According to police, an 18-year-old man was walking south on Post Avenue, in front of 125 Post Ave., when he was approached by five men. The men started to beat the teen with bats and hammers before they fled in two cars. The driver of one of the cars, a Nissan Murano, fled north on Post Avenue. The driver of the other car, a white Acura, fled east on Union Avenue.
The teen suffered serious injuries to his head and legs. He was rushed to a nearby hospital.

Police ask anyone with information about this assault to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS, or call 911. All callers will remain anonymous, and you could receive a cash reward if your information leads to an arrest.
