Trio Counterfeited More Than $1.5 Million Of Vape Products: NCPD
Police say they executed warrants at seven locations and seized cash and $1.5 million in fake vape products.

EAST MEADOW, NY — A trio of men were arrested early Thursday, police said, after an investigation showed they were selling more than a million dollars worth of counterfeit vaping products.
According to police, several search warrants were executed at midnight on Thursday, Aug. 1 in Nassau, Suffolk and Queens by Nassau County police officers, Nassau County District Attorney's Office agents, Homeland Security Investigations, Customs and Border Patrol and the NYPD.

- Card Smart Store — 1918 Hempstead Turnpike, East Meadow
- Smoke and Vape Store — 194 East Meadow Ave., East Meadow
- Card Smart Store — 18 Veteran’s Memorials Highway, Commack
Police say the warrants resulted in the arrests of Ali Asghar, 58, Ali Zar, 33 — both of whom lived on Fams Court in East Meadow — and Ali Moosa, 35, of 87th Avenue, Bellerose.
Police say they confiscated about $140,000 in cash and $1.5 million in counterfeit vaping products.

All three men were charged with first-degree trademark counterfeiting. They are scheduled to be arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Friday, Aug. 2.
