VIDEO: Criss Angel Turns a Check into Cash

Criss Angel is known around the world as one of the premier illusionists, and in East Meadow.

Angel, 43, whose real name is Christopher Sarantakos, graduated from 27 years ago.

Angel began learning magic when he was six years old. His aunt showed him a card trick and he was hooked.

"Ever since then, I drove my family crazy by doing tricks to them and getting their opinions and advice about how I could better my presentation," Angel said.

Since then, He has appeared on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" twice, his "Criss Angel Walks on Water" video on YouTube has more than 40 million views and his  Orville Redenbacher popcorn commercial was a resounding hit as well.

One of Angel's latest tricks involved a check for $100 that he instantly converted into a $100 bill. He claimed that he can cash his own checks. See the attached YouTube video for the footage.
