Whiz Kid Nominations, Art Registration and a Serial Killer

Here's what's going on in East Meadow on Monday.

A new week means a new beginning for East Meadow, and it also marks a new beginning for East Meadow Patch. This week marks the debut of a ton of new content that's geared for the residents of East Meadow, so enjoy! Here's what's going on today.

1. Weather: It's going to be mostly sunny today, according to projections from the National Weather Service. Keep your coats on though, because the high is only going to hit 28 degrees. At least it's not supposed to snow today! Tomorrrow is another story.

2. Has your child done something worth commending? Do you know a neighborhood kid who stands out from the rest? East Meadow is looking to name the first in what will be a new weekly installment on Patch.
