The conference release details her standout season alongside other Empire 8 women’s track and field award winners and all-conference selections.

2. Southern Tier Arts and Cultural Organizations Receive Portion of $82 Million in Grant Money (wicz.com) — Endicott residents will see $50,000 in state funding go to restoring the Endicott Performing Arts Center roof, part of a major $82 million arts capital grant program. Several other Southern Tier cultural sites, from Roberson Museum to Earlville Opera House, are also getting money for critical building repairs and upgrades.

3. Broome County Mom Facing Felony Charges After 34g Cocaine Found in Motel With Kids (wnbf.com) — Endicott residents should know local police helped a county task force raid a Town of Dickinson motel, where officers say they found more than 34 grams of cocaine in a room shared by a mother and her two children. The Endicott Police Department joined other Broome County agencies in the June 1 operation, which led to multiple felony drug and child endangerment charges that remain allegations.
