• Endicott wins key ruling in IBM legal battle over water contamination (pressconnects.com) — Endicott’s long-running fight over contaminated village water wells just cleared a major legal hurdle, as a federal judge allowed key claims in the village’s lawsuit against IBM to move forward. Village leaders say they’ve spent millions replacing and supplementing shut-down wells and argue local taxpayers shouldn’t shoulder cleanup costs. IBM maintains it has met its obligations and will keep defending itself.
