2-Hour Delayed Opening for Farmingdale Schools Monday
The district announces the decision after a blizzard strikes the region.

Farmingdale Public Schools will open on a 2-hour delay on Monday following a blizzard that dumped more than two feet of snow across Long Island, district officials have announced.
Here’s the message on the district’s website:
Due to the inclement weather, the district will be operating on a 2 hour delayed opening on Monday, January 25, 2016. All schools and bus route start times will begin 2 hours after their normal start time. Please note, all before school activities and Universal Pre-K a.m. session will be cancelled and Farmingdale Care will open at 9:00 a.m. Please drive carefully and have a good evening.
