5 De Mayo Mexican Restaurant Closes Farmingdale Location

FARMINGDALE, NY — 5 De Mayo Mexican Restaurant in Farmingdale has permanently closed, according to the eatery's website.
"We apologize for the inconvenience however, we have permanently closed our Farmingdale location but offer the same weekly specials, menu and authentic quality at our Westbury location," the restaurant wrote. "We hope to see you soon."
5 De Mayo Mexican Restaurant did not respond to Patch's request for comment.

The Westbury store is at 611 Old Country Road.
5 De Mayo Mexican Restaurant opened at 2120 Broadhollow Road, Farmingdale, in summer 2022, replacing The Homestead.

The restaurant offered a variety of steaks. The restaurant also offered Mexican food like burritos, tacos, enchiladas and fajitas, as well as chicken, appetizers and desserts.
