Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza plans to set up shop in East Farmingdale, making this spot the chain’s seventh Long Island location.

“This is an ideal location for Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza,” Sabre managing principal Jayson Siano said in a press release. “It’s close to Farmingdale State College, two multiplex cinemas, dense office development along the Route 110 corridor and significant retail in a highly visible site opposite Republic Airport.”

Long Island native Anthony Bruno founded the chain in 2002, and has expanded his business to restaurants in Bohemia, Carle Place, Commack, Great Neck, Wantagh and Woodbury. Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza has since spread to 53 locations in Florida, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Massachusetts.
