Mets Game Fundraiser for Rotary Club

The Farmingdale Breakfast Rotary club invites families to help support its efforts to help the  community and get 10 percent off New York Mets tickets to Rotary Appreciation Day at Citifield on Fathers Day, Sunday, June 17.

The game against the Cincinnati Reds begins at 1:10 p.m. The Breakfast Rotary team will also invite neighboring Rotary clubs for this special day of appreciation for all the Rotary organizations and their community and global initiatives.

The Rotary Club will be honored on the Citifield screen in honor of all that Rotary clubs do for their communities and throughout the world. 

The Farmingdale Breakfast Rotary aid to the Farmingdale community includes:

• Providing annual scholarships to FHS students to pursue collegiate education
• Hosting the annual career fair at FHS
• Offering financial & emotional support to Farmingdale families in need
• Supporting Gift Of Life – an organization that provides free life-saving medical services,  primarily to children
• Supporting RotaCare Long Island – providing free health care to those who have the most need and the least access to medical care.

Bring dad to the game and he’ll have a chance to win a number of prizes as raffles will be drawn throughout the game for Mets memorabilia, ticket 4-packs, autographed baseball, passes to watch batting practice, tickets for a tour of the stadium and more.  A Keith Hernandez bobblehead will be handed out to the first 25,000 fans. Kids 12 and under can run the bases on Citi Field following the game.

To those Farmingdale businesses who want to donate to the Farmingdale Breakfast Rotary Club and its community mission  and to also promote their business - there will be sponsorship opportunities to advertise in a “Keeping Score Journal” that will be provided to all attendees.
