Cab Driver Assaulted During Attempted Robbery In East Farmingdale

Two people assaulted the driver before fleeing with no proceeds.

EAST FARMINGDALE, NY - A cab driver was hospitalized after an attempted robbery in East Farmingdale on Monday, according to Suffolk Police.

Two people assaulted the driver on Kevin Street at about 3:18 p.m. They fled with no proceeds.

The driver was taken to St Joseph’s Hospital in Bethpage for treatment of minor injuries.

No description of the two attempted robbers was available.
