Bus Trip to Wearin' of the Green

Wearin' of the Green, Plautzl Brauhaus, Pomona, NY, Luncheon & Entertainment

Fee: $70 per person

A return visit to this popular venue for a fun-filled day of Irish entertainment and delicious food.  You'll be greeted with homemade scones and donuts, then a Pot O' Gold Bingo competition with cash prizes.  After, a time to browse in the unique gift shop and an opportunity to purchase "baked on the premises" rye bread, pies and other goodies.  A sumptuous lunch follows, including Irish soda bread, traditional corned beef and cabbage, bangers and mash, and other choices.  Entertainment includes lots of music, sing-alongs, dancing, and good old-fashioned Irish fun.  Beer and soda served at lunch and throughout the day.  Prior to departure, they will roll out their famous Steamship Roasts, individually sliced for your own personal "one for the road" sandwich.  Registration begins January 17 at 10am.  Each registrant must show proof of Farmingdale District #22 residency.  Registration for non-residents begins January 24.  Call first for availability.  Credit or Debit cards accepted, as well as checks made payable to the Farmingdale Public Library.  No cash please.  No refunds.
