Centennial Celebration Lecture Series

"A Triumph of Scholarships: The Collaboration Between the Baron de Hirsch Society and the State Institute of Applied Agriculture at Farmingdale" with Rhoda Miller, Ed.D.

Held in the lobby of Nathan Hale Hall.

This is the first in a series of lectures to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Farmingdale State College.  This lecture covers the collaboration in the early part of the 20th century (1919-1933), between Baron de Hirsch and the State Institute of Applied Agriculture at Farmingdale, to provide scholarships to young men with a desire to receive financial assistance in developing a career in farming.
