Is Your Child Safe in Your Car?
If you or someone you know has a young child, now is the time to ensure that every child's car seat is installed properly. Senator Kemp Hannon is sponsoring a FREE child car seat safety check on Friday, September 30 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Allen Ellsworth Park on Main Street in Farmingdale.
Traffic Safety Educator Chris Mistron from the Nassau County Traffic and Safety Board will be thoroughly checking your child's car seat for proper installation and security. At one of Senator Hannon’s Car Seat Safety Checks last year, Mistron shockingly discovered 20 parents who had their child's car seat improperly installed.
