Long Island, NY – June-July, 2012: Billy Hofacker of 'Total Body Boot Camp, Long Island, announces a Kids Boot Camp Open House. This is the kick-off event for their new A.C.E. Youth Athletic Program beginning this summer. The aim is to help prevent childhood obesity, create an optimistic attitude among our youth, and show them that fitness can be fun.
"Today’s youth are the most inactive generation in history. 1 in 3 children and teens in the US is overweight or obese. This open house will help children aged 6-13 develop their strength, speed, and agility. A variety of activities will be included including obstacles, games, and strength exercises. We will also be looking to add a martial component to help with additional confidence.”
The Total Body Boot Camp is already making great strides in the community with their new youth program by doing workshops and presentations at local elementary schools
