The JC Café at Farmingdale United Methodist Church, 407 Main Street (corner of Grant Ave), will host contemporary Christian singing group Jesussheep on Saturday, January 21, 2012 (snow date 1/28). Doors open at 7PM with complimentary coffee and dessert and the program begins at 7:30PM; suggested donation is $5.00.
Jesussheep is a group begun almost 20 years ago by a young spirit-filled mother who decided to share the words and music that spoke to her heart. Others joined her and soon the group was performing original songs with a folk sound and a clear message and showcasing their artwork at various churches and community venues. They have recorded many of their songs, which are based on scripture, on several CDs. Everyone is invited to share what is sure to be an exciting and inspiring evening. Anyone interested in joining their ministry or showcasing their work with them should take this opportunity to see them in person.
