COURSES:

The Century Challenge is a 100-mile ride for the experienced rider including the beautiful sights and magnificent views of Huntington and Cold Spring Harbors, Laurel Hollow, Oyster Bay, Locust Valley, Roslyn, Old Westbury, Brookville, Oyster Bay Harbor, Mill Neck Bay, and more.

The Grand Tour is a 70-mile ride including harbors, hills, vintage villages and views of Oyster Bay Harbor, Mill Neck Bay and the affluent communities along the way.

The Vintage Villages ride is 55 miles that will allow you to enjoy the harbors and the hills while pedaling through a string of charming and historic villages including Laurel Hallow, Oyster Bay, Locust Valley, Roslyn, Old Westbury, Brookville and more.

The Scenic Harbors ride is a 25-mile ride where you will enjoy the magnificent views of Huntington and Cold Spring Harbors as you ride along the coast and through beautiful residential communities.

The Trial Tour is a 12.9 pleasant, flat ride through Greenlawn, East Northport and Elwood.  A ride leader will be available to guide those who are ready to start at 9AM.  Novice cyclists will learn the rules of the road for group riding and the use of cue sheets and road markings to follow a tour route.

Ride Details:

The Huntington Bicycle Club, Inc. is a non-profit club organized to promote safe, enjoyable bicycle rides and to share information on cycling safety, fitness, equipment and maintenance.  Club members' ride nearly every day of the year, with HBC sponsored rides led by trained ride leaders being held on weekends from April through November. Riders self-select the route and skill level that they wish to ride.

For over a quarter century, HBC has been the proud sponsor of the Gold Coast Tour, a club supported bicycle tour of the North Shore of Long Island, with five different distances up to a challenging full century ride.  HBC is a member of the League of American Bicyclists and part of an organization in New York that promotes and protects the rights and welfare of all bicycling enthusiasts.
