Saturday August 6, 2011, “Pay it Forward Long Island” will be hosting “Lax 4 Backpax” a boys and girls youth lacrosse tournament at Farmingdale High School. Through this fundraiser we will be collecting and purchasing school supplies for the alarming amount of needy children right here in our own backyards. We can all remember how exciting it was to start the school year with all of our brand new school supplies…imagine how these parents must feel when they can’t pass down that memory to their children. Our goal is to provide backpacks filled with all the necessary items for every single child in need to have a successful school year.
