Lucky Lobster in the Rough and Mohegan Sun Experience - Trip from Farmingdale Public Library

First, we’ll enjoy a delicious Lobster-in-the-Rough luncheon at Abbott’s, a waterfront restaurant overlooking the harbor in Noank, CT. Renowned for their fresh-from-the-sea lobsters, your picnic lunch will include: clam chowder, steamed lobster with drawn butter, coleslaw, rolls & butter, dessert & beverage (1/2 chicken available instead of lobster). Then, off to nearby Mohegan Sun Casino, where you can try your luck or take in the authentic Native American décor, a 55 ft. indoor waterfall, shops, eateries, entertainment, or just enjoy the magical atmosphere of the second largest casino in the U.S.. Participants will be given a $10 food allowance as well as a $10 gambling voucher. Registration for non-residents begins July 18. Call first for availability.
