Stew Leonard’s Wines of Farmingdale will host New York Jets former wide receiver Wesley Walker for a tasting of the New York Jets’ signature wine, Jets Uncorked. This premium Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon was created by celebrated winemaker Marco DiGiulio to commemorate the 2010 season and the opening of the New Meadowlands Stadium. Marco DiGiulio has created some of the most well known Cabernet Sauvignons in Napa Valley. Since 1995, Robert Parker and Wine Spectator have rated 52 of Marco’s wines between 90 and 98 points.

In classic Napa Valley fashion, this 100% Cabernet Sauvignon is bursting with ripe red and black fruit flavors and substantial, but well integrated tannins. There’s just enough French oak to add complexity without obscuring the purity of the fruit. The long spicy finish is an invitation to enjoy another sip of Jets Uncorked.
