University Club Event for Spring Semester Featuring the Original Compositions of Dr. Helmuth H. Fuchs as well as Works by Bach, Scarlatti, Mendelssohn, Gershwin, Chopin and Ginastera. Performed by World-Class Pianist Dr. Ana Maria Trenchi Bottazzi

Held in Roosevelt Hall, Little Theater. Composer Dr. Helmuth Hans Fuchs, former professor of Chemistry at Farmingdale State College and “Composer-in Residence” of the Chicago Philharmonia Orchestra, has had his musical works performed throughout the world, including Avery Fischer Hall and Carnegie Hall. In 1992 Dr. Fuchs’ composition “Schlummerlied” was played in recital at the White House before President George Bush, performed by our guest pianist Dr. Ana Maria Trenchi Bottazzi. Dr. Bottazzi, the first Latin American to receive a doctorate from the Juilliard School, has had 17 appearances at Carnegie Hall and is the founder of the Bottazzi International Musical Society and School of Music.
