Farmingdale Baseball Tops Comets, 11-2

Farmingdale emerged victorious in a home matchup against Hicksville.

After a solid win Monday against Hicksville, baseball team hit the field confident and ready to win Tuesday afternoon on their home turf.

Game one of the series was a close matchup, but the second bout played out much differently. The Hicksville Comets (5-9) struggled through each inning as Farmingdale (10-4) continued to rack in runs and end the game with an 11-2 victory.

By the bottom of the second inning, Hicksville had a 1-0 lead on the home team, but that all changed when senior Vinny Schultz came up to bat.
