Athletes and their families came to Allen Park Saturday to celebrate baseball day with games, skill competition and an awards ceremony.

While some ran the bases or kicked soccer balls, others were washing cars as a fundraiser. Still others played on inflatables, tried out their strength or ate hotdogs, enjoying the warm and sunny day.
