Farmingdale Company Recalls Bread
Los Olivos product may contain undeclared milk allergens.

Los Olivos LTD of Farmingdale is recalling its 16-ounce packages of "Pan de Torta" bread because they may contain undeclared milk allergens. Consumers who are allergic to milk allergens may run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if they consume this product.
The product comes in a clear plastic package marked with lot #50912 stamped on the side. The recalled "Pan de Torta" was sold to Queso La Ricura located at 225 Park Ave., Hicksville, and distributed throughout Long Island, Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, Staten Island and the Bronx and New Jersey.
The product was distributed nationwide by other distributors.

The recall was initiated after routine sampling by New York State Department of agriculture and markets food inspectors and subsequent analysis by food laboratory personnel revealed the presence of undeclared milk allergens in the packages which did not declare a milk ingredient on the label.
No illnesses or allergic reactions involving this product have been reported. Consumers who have purchased the item are urged to return them to the place of purchase for a full refund. Consumers with questions may contact the company at 631-773-6439.
