Farmingdale Firefighters Battle Apartment Blaze
The fire started in a kitchen in one of the apartments in the three-story complex.
Farmingdale firefighters spent part of the afternoon getting a gas fire in an apartment complex under control.
The call came in before 1:30 p.m. for the fire in the second-floor kitchen of the three-story Elizabeth Gardens apartment complex, located at 25 Elizabeth St. in Farmingdale.
It's unknown at this time what caused the fire or what the extent of the damage was.
