Farmingdale Football Set for Showdown Against Oceanside

One week after opening its season with a 35-0 win against Plainview JFK, the Farmingdale High School football team hosts Oceanside Friday night at 6:30 p.m.

Oceanside won in shutout fashion as well last week, as they beat Uniondale 37-0.

For Farmingdale, Vinny Quinn was 8-for-13 with 101 yards and two touchdowns, and he added 36 yards and a touchdown while rushing the ball as well.  

Joe Lee was a force on defense, leading the team with 12 tackles. Matt D'Antonio and Dallas Creamer each chipped in with a sack.
