Farmingdale Library Goes Tobacco Free
TAC is very proud and pleased with Director Podolski and the Board of Trustees for their recent adoption of a Tobacco Free Grounds policy,
Farmingdale Public Library Director-Deborah Podolski proudly accepted the Library’s new Tobacco Free Grounds signage from Tobacco Action Coalition of LI (TAC) Nassau Manager-Carol Meschkow, to highlight their proactive partnership in advancing tobacco free communities by helping changing the social norms associated with the acceptability of smoking, and in protecting Library patrons and employees from the dangers of second-hand smoke.
