A Farmingdale restaurant announced that they have closed down recently.
The take-out place Soup-or-Hero Kitchen on 396 Conklin Street, owned by three-time Chopped champion Marc Bynum, opened about 6 months ago.
According to a post on the restaurant's Facebook page on Thursday, the restaurant closed its doors due to "unfortunate circumstances."

He hopes to expand the small restaurant to the space next door in order to double the seating, according to Newsday.
