Farmingdale State College Alumni Among Top SUNY Earners
FSC alumni are among the top earners of all SUNY alumni both five and 10 years after graduation, according to the SUNY Gradwages Dashboard.

FARMINGDALE, NY — Farmingdale State College graduates are among the top earners in the group of all SUNY alumni both five and 10 years after graduation, according to the SUNY Gradwages dashboard.
Farmingdale graduates rank fourth best among SUNY’s 64 campuses, following only SUNY
Maritime, SUNY Downstate Medical, and Binghamton University. Farmingdale was the highest
rated on Long Island.
"It is wonderful to receive validation that FSC graduates go on to financially rewarding careers," Farmingdale State College President John S. Nader said via news release. "Our focus on applied learning and forging industry partnerships is proving to be a worthwhile investment."

SUNY Gradwages combines academic data from SUNY with wage data from the New York State Department of Labor Unemployment Insurance System, to show median wages in specific degree programs. The dashboard shows wages one, two, three, five, and 10 years post-graduation, and allows students to research by field of study and campus.

Farmingdale’s most recent survey of alumni – Class of 2018-19 – reveals that 90 percent of baccalaureate degree recipients are employed either full- or part-time within six months of graduation. Of that group, 81 percent are working in a job related to their degree.
A recent U.S. News poll – which ranked Farmingdale No. 11 among public colleges in the North
region – also named the College a "Best Value" (#12). In CollegeFactual.com’s "Best Colleges for the Money" category, FSC ranked in the Top-20 out of 115 New York State schools.
LendEdu rated Farmingdale No. 1 among SUNYs, and the top-rated public school in New York, in
its College Risk-Reward Indicator study, which measured best return on investment.
"Farmingdale State College students are at a major advantage on Long Island: their education is
considered a 'Best Value' in poll after poll, and their earning potential is documented to increase
year after year," the college said.
