Farmingdale Student Awarded Prestigious Art Scholarship

Farmingdale High School Student-Artist Recognized for Outstanding Artistic Achievement

In recognition of the Farmingdale School District’s exceptional artistic program, Farmingdale High School senior and student-artist Geneva Ammonds recently received the Art Supervisors Association’s 2017 Nassau All-County Art Exhibition award and scholarship. Ammonds was awarded with a Certificate of Excellence acknowledging her outstanding artistic achievement. She was one of only 42 students throughout Nassau County to receive this prestigious recognition from teachers and supervisors.

The Farmingdale School District is committed to fostering student creativity and encourages students to take advantage of the District’s many rigorous arts courses.
