Farmingdale Student Wins AHRC Walk T-shirt Design Contest
Contest finalists hail from Massapequa and East Meadow.

A Farmingdale High School Student has won the AHRC Walk T-Shirt design contest.
That means that when 1,200-plus walkers from across Long Island participate in the AHRC Walk on Sunday, Sept. 14, at Eisenhower Park, they will be wearing her artwork.
The winner, Haley Timko, who graduates Farmingdale High School in 2015, entered her design to AHRC Foundation’s t-shirt contest after being inspired from her participation in the New York State Olympics of the Visual Arts.
