Farmingdale Students Dance for the Heart
Farmingdale Elementary School Students Learn Cardio during 'Kerboomka'
Farmingdale School District students at Woodward Parkway Elementary School recently participated in a high-energy workout session as part of the District’s physical education program. Dressed in green and white Daler colors, students learned cardio dance moves designed by ‘Kerboomka’ founder Kershal Anthony to help maintain a healthy heart. During his visit to the school, Mr. Anthony combined his lesson on the value of exercise with upbeat music, choreography and an entertaining performance. Students were able to connect what they’ve learned about the positive impacts of exercise on physical and mental health with the lessons in Mr. Anthony’s interactive dance performance.
This event is one example of the many creative, innovative programs the Farmingdale School District provides students to enrich their educations.
