"As the 18th anniversary of September 11 approaches, our thoughts are once again with all those
who lost loved ones on that tragic morning," the summit council stated via press release. "We remember the names, faces, and lives of the men, women, and children who were killed, and look for ways to ensure that each and every one of them is not forgotten."
If bad weather occurs, the ceremony will instead be held in the library's rotunda. Following the event will be a reception at the South Farmingdale Fire Department, located at 819 Main St., at 7:30 p.m.
