Farmingdale's Alibi Speakeasy Voted Best Whiskey Bar On LI
The speakeasy also won the New York State Senate 2021 Empire Award for fostering growth in Farmingdale and the state.

FARMINGDALE, NY — Alibi Speakeasy & Lounge was voted as the best whiskey bar on Long Island in the 2022 Bethpage Best of Long Island awards.
It marks the second year in a row that Alibi has taken the honor. The speakeasy also won best signature cocktail in last year's awards. It is owned by Peter Dragone and Chris Molano.
"We just want to thank everyone who voted for us and has supported us!" Dragone told Patch. "Winning best whiskey bar for a second straight year means the world to us and shows that hard work and dedication pays off ….. we love what we do, we love the village of Farmingdale and we love all our customers!"

Alibi also won the New York State Senate 2021 Empire Award "in recognition of outstanding contributions and dedication to the growth, prosperity, and betterment of their community and New York State."
Alibi Speakeasy & Lounge opened its wall of doorknobs in October 2019 at 230 Main St. The lounge offers cocktails, spirits, beer, wine, and more. For grub, Alibi serves up appetizers such as mac & cheese bites, quesadillas, a jumbo pretzel, potstickers, etc. And for those who are still hungry and want dessert, the lounge also features a variety of cakes and ice cream.
