Long Islanders join in a day of performances, food and unity.

Long Islanders came to Saturday to enjoy the music, art and food of Asian cultures.

Amidst the solo and ensemble dance and music performances representing Korean, Taiwanese, Japanese, and other cultures, those attending the sixth annual Asian-American Cultural Festival could get henna artwork, watch painters at their craft, buy clothing and cookbooks or try their hand at their own craftsmanship.

An outdoor food court featuring of Farmingdale and Shiro of Japan offered numerous dishes.
