Grand Opening for Althea's Boutique in Farmingdale Set for Nov. 29

Althea’s Boutique, a ladies designer boutique consignment shop in Farmingdale, is celebrating its grand opening on Saturday, Nov. 29.

The grand opening coincides with Small Business Saturday, an created by American Express that promotes the idea of shopping local.

The grand opening will include a raffle, refreshments and a 1 p.m. ribbon cutting.

Located at 455 Main Street in the Village of Farmingdale, just off Conklin Street (Route 24) and Fulton Street (Route 109), along the Nassau-Suffolk border, the boutique offers more than 1,000 items for sale and inventory changes daily.

The shop claims to offer designer selections at discounted retail prices, costume jewelry, vintage handbags and items from across the United States and Europe.
