Homeless Man Burglarized Farmingdale Apartment Building: Police
The man was arrested Saturday morning.

A homeless man was arrested for burglary after police say he broke into a Farmingdale apartment building undergoing construction Saturday morning.
According to authorities, Michael J. Gordon, 35, of no known address, entered the building, located at 231 Main St., which triggered an alarm at 2:45 a.m.
Authorities responded to the scene and were told by witnesses Gordon fled with two bags of tools through an opening in the fence, police say.

Gordon was located on South Front Street and placed under arrest. The tools were recovered, police say.
Gordon was charged with third-degree burglary. He will be arraigned Saturday at First District Court in Hempstead.
