Hundreds Attend Opening Of New Healthy Eatery

FARMINGDALE, NY - The high-anticipated healthy food restaurant, CoreLife Eatery, opened its first Long Island location on Wednesday.

Over 400 people attended the opening day of the new business, located on 207 Airport Plaza in Farmingdale.

"We are thrilled with the warm welcome we received in Farmingdale yesterday," Todd Mansfield, co-founder of CoreLife Eatery, said. "The turnout was phenomenal. It seems the Farmingdale community is just as excited to have us as we are to be here, and we can't wait for even more of our new neighbors to experience all CoreLife Eatery has to offer."

The franchise, which has locations in Ohio, Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Utah and upstate New York, replaced Noodles & Company, which closed down last year.

The restaurant offers a variety of bowls and "plates," which include large portions of protein, roasted vegetables, and filling sides.

The new eatery has already received several 5-star reviews on Yelp.

"I have been to their location in Binghamton NY [but I'm] so excited for them to be close to home here on Long Island," Matt O., of Vesta, wrote on the website.

"Finally, healthy casual restaurant on LI that is delicious," Stephanie L., of Seaford, wrote.
