John's Crazy Socks Moves To East Farmingdale
The business, co-founded by John Cronin, who has Down syndrome, also plans to expand its retail presence in Kohl's, according to a report.

EAST FARMINGDALE, NY — John's Crazy Socks has slipped into its new digs, putting the socks business a step ahead.
The father-son business was created in late 2016 and inspired by co-founder John Lee Cronin, a young man with Down syndrome. John's father, Mark X. Cronin, helped him cultivate the business, which recently celebrated its ribbon cutting in East Farmingdale after moving from Melville, according to the Town of Babylon.
There are 4,000 different socks to choose from at John's Crazy Socks, which has created 34 jobs — 22 of which are held by people with differing abilities, according to the town. In addition to cutting the ribbon, Babylon Town officials were also able to present John with a framed pair of his Down Syndrome Awareness Socks and a certificate of special recognition on behalf of the Town.
