FARMINGDALE, NY — After nearly three years of serving up scoops, smiles, and sweet treats, Scoops and Cones in Farmingdale is preparing to close its doors for good this weekend.

In an Instagram post signed "Tommy and family," the shop announced that Sun., Feb. 15, will be its final day on Fulton Street. The ice cream spot first opened in Farmingdale on Feb. 27, 2023.

The sweet shop was home to dozens of ice cream flavors, as well as crepes, grilled cheeses, soups, and more.

Owner Thomas Cacciopoli previously told Patch: "It’s got a ton of butter fat in it, great quality; mom and pop shop, and the owner actually cares about the place and the people who come into the place."
