Man Got Paid To Take Driver's License Tests For Other People: Police
The man agreed to take written tests in exchange for money at the Bethpage DMV, police said.

BETHPAGE, NY - A Brooklyn man was arrested on Monday after getting paid to take driver's license tests for other people at a Bethpage DMV earlier this month, according to Nassau Police.
On April 14, Mario Gedeon, 64, entered the Department of Motor Vehicle on 4031 Hempstead Turnpike with two other people, who have not yet been apprehended, and agreed to take their written test for them in exchange for money, police said.
Security guards saw Gedeon and the two other people switching papers before all three left the scene, police said.

A DMV worker then recognized Gedeon, who already has a NY driver's license, who had been to the Bethpage office multiple times over the last year, police said.
On Monday, he entered the Bethpage DMV office again in order to take a motorcycle test, when he was recognized by a DMV investigator who then notified police.

Officers caught him running across Hempstead Turnpike, police said.
Gedeon is being charged with three counts of first degree falsify business records and three counts of offer false instruments, police said.
He will be arraigned on Tuesday.
