Medical Marijuana Dispensary To Open In Farmingdale Next Week
The dispensary will sell many different cannabis products to people who are licensed to buy them. What do you think of the store?
A new medical marijuana dispensary is set to open in Farmingdale next week.
The Botanist is scheduled to open on Friday, March 29 at 2365 Broadhollow Road. It is a nationwide dispensary chain, and the first to open on Long Island. It is also the company's fourth dispensary located in New York.
The Botanist, a licensed medical marijuana dispensary, says the store blends "...nature and science in an immersive and inviting retail environment." There are patient care specialists on hand to help answer questions new users have about medical marijuana and help them find the right products for them.

The retailer says it will sell different cannabis products as allowed by the state: vape cartridges, tinctures and more.
To help celebrate the opening of The Botanist in Farmingdale, and in keeping with the store’s mission to enable access to cannabis for everyone who needs or wants it, all veterans as well as patients with Medicare, Medicaid, and SSI who purchase medicine at The Botanist will receive a 10 percent discount through the end of April.

The store will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. In order to purchase products at The Botanist, you must be registered as a New York State medical cannabis patient or caregiver.
