Nassau County Community Policing Center to Temporarily Relocate to Farmingdale

The center will relocate while the original location will undergo construction starting this week.

The Nassau County Police Department recently announced that they will be temporarily relocating the 2nd Precinct Community Policing Center while constructing a new building center at the original location starting this week.

Starting on Thursday, September 15 at 12 p.m., the center will be moved to the South Farmingdale Fire Department Station on 44 Beverly Road in Farmingdale.

The center will be returning to its current site on 286 North Wantagh Avenue in Levittown in November 2017 when the construction is scheduled to be completed.

The phone number for the Policing Center will remain unchanged at 516-573-6800. In an emergency, call 911.

The second precinct covers Glen Cove; Muttontown; Old Brookville covering Brookville, Cove Neck, Matinecock, Mill Neck, Old Brookville and Upper Brookville; Old Westbury; Oyster Bay Cove which additionally covers the Incorporated Village of Laurel Hollow; and SUNY College at Old Westbury.
