Nassau Police Report: Week of Sept. 16
Check out the recent crimes and arrests reported near the Farmingdale area.

Nassau County Police released the crime report for the week of Sept. 15 to Sep. 22.
Check out the following incidents and arrests near the Farmingdale area over the past week as reported by police:
- Sept. 14: A man reported that someone entered his locker at the XSport Fitness in the Sunrise Mall in Massapequa and stole his wallet and cell phone.
- Sept. 15: A man reported that someone caused significant damage to his car while it was parked at the Happy Feet on Merrick Road in Massapequa.
- Sept. 15: A woman reported that someone broke into her car and stole her Coach sunglasses on Arcadia Lane in Hicksville.
- Sept. 16: A man reported that someone damaged his PVC fence on Thornwood Road in Massapequa Park.
- Sept. 18: Nicholas Gigante, 30, of Old Bethpage was arrested on a DWI charge on Edward Street and Hicksville Road in Bethpage.
- Sept. 19: A woman reported that someone broke into her car by breaking the drivers side windows and removed her pocketbook with contents at the XSport Fitness at the Sunrise Mall in Massapequa.
- Sept. 20: A woman reported that someone entered her car and stole her pocketbook and wallet on Brenner Avenue in Bethpage.
- Sept. 20: A woman reported that someone damaged the siding of her house on Block Boulevard in Massapequa with a BB gun.
