One Dead In Head-On Crash With Bus

BREAKING: A 39-year-old man was killed after crashing his minivan into a Nassau County bus on Wednesday night.

FARMINGDALE, NY - A man died in a crash involving a Nassau County bus in Farmingdale on Wednesday night, according to Nassau Police.

At about 9:41 p.m., a minivan traveling westbound on Conklin Street, being driven by a 39-year-old man, was in a head-on collision with a NICE bus in the eastbound lanes near Cherry Street.

The driver of the minivan was alone in the car and pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not yet been released.

The NICE bus was occupied by a driver and two passengers at the time of the crash.

The driver and one of the passengers were taken to a local hospital for treatment to non-life threatening injuries.
