Person Killed After Being Hit By LIRR Train In Farmingdale: MTA
BREAKING: Someone was hit and killed by a train Friday morning in Farmingdale, according to the MTA LIRR.

FARMINGDALE, NY — A person was killed when he was hit by a Long Island Railroad train Friday morning in Farmingdale, an MTA spokeswoman told Patch.
A male was hit by the train at 9:10 a.m. on Merritts Road. The eastbound, non-passenger train was headed to Ronkonkoma. Service resumed 10:25 a.m.
The LIRR Twitter account said the person was a trespasser.
