Police Manhunt Locks Down Nassau High School
Police were searching the area after a burglary, which also caused delays on the Southern State.

The chase for three suspects in a robbery led to Farmingdale High School being put on lockdown and traffic snarls on the Southern State Parkway on Monday afternoon.
According to News12, police from Nassau, Suffolk and the state were involved in the chase, which began with a robbery in Suffolk. While fleeing the police, the three suspects crashed on the Southern State Parkway and fled on foot.
Police closed off the parkway for the manhunt, causing traffic delays near the Route 110 exit. The suspects ran into the neighborhood near Farmingdale High School, according to News12, and were hiding in yards, causing the school to be put on lockdown while police searched. The lockdown was lifted before dismissal, and students were able to leave normally.
