Police Release Surveillance Photo of Man Who Robbed Nassau 7-Eleven, Slashed Employee

BREAKING: An employee was hospitalized after the robbery over the weekend.

Nassau Police have released a surveillance photo of a masked man who robbed a Nassau 7-Eleven at knifepoint and sent an employee to the hospital over the weekend.

According to police, the man entered the 7-Eleven located at 758 Old Bethpage Road in Old Bethpage around 2:20 a.m. He displayed a knife and demanded money, police said. After the 25-year-old male employee complied, the robber slashed him with the knife on his neck and arms.

The employee was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries. The robber fled on foot northbound on Old Bethpage Road.
