Town To Host Benefit Hockey Game With NY Rangers Alumni
The game will take place on Friday night.

BETHPAGE, NY - The Town of Oyster Bay will be hosting a special New York Rangers Alumni Association game in Bethpage on Friday.
The event will begin at 7 p.m. at the Town of Oyster Bay Ice Skating Center in the Bethpage Community Park at 1001 Stewart Avenue.
The benefit hockey game will feature New York Rangers alumni, Ron Duguay, Stephane Matteau, Steve Valiquette, Tom Laidlaw, Brian Mullen, Chris Kotsopoulos, with guest coaches Pete Stemkowski and Gilles Villemure as well as many local players from the community.

The game is part of the Rangers Assist Program Presented by Chase and supports youth hockey programs such as the one operated by the Town of Oyster Bay.
“The Town of Oyster Bay’s hockey program has enabled us to work closely with the National Hockey League and the New York Rangers,” Supervisor Joseph Saladino said. “It is a tremendous honor that the Rangers have selected the Town of Oyster Bay hockey program to be the recipient of its first alumni association hockey benefit game of the 2017-18 season.”

Admission to the game is $20 for Town residents over the age of 12, $30 for non-residents over the age of 12 and $10 for children 12 years and under. Children under the age of 3 years are admitted free.
“Along with Rangers Assist and Chase, the New York Rangers Alumni Association is dedicated to increasing accessibility to hockey in the Tri-State Area,” Rangers Legend Rod Gilbert said. “We look forward to the opportunity to lace up our skates and help provide youth hockey programs with the necessary tools to build character, foster positive values and develop skills both on and off the ice.”
