FARMINGDALE, NY - The portion of Hempstead Turnpike has been reopened following the crash on Tuesday morning.

The westbound lanes of Hempstead Turnpike were closed at Merritts Road due to an auto accident investigation as of about 8:15 a.m.

As of about 9:09 a.m., the road is now reopen.

FARMINGDALE, NY - A portion of Hempstead Turnpike has been shut down in Farmingdale due to a crash on Tuesday morning.

The westbound lanes of Hempstead Turnpike is closed at Merritts Road due to an auto accident investigation as of about 8:15 a.m.
